The Birthday Massacre in 3D (crossview)

Description

3D conversion of The Birthday Massacre's "Hide and Seek" cover artwork (Aaron Cunningham did the original art). Hear samples and buy stuff on their website here: www.thebirthdaymassacre.com/ Posted with permission from ~CalamityBane

"How do I view this in 3D," you ask? Well, it'll take a few tries if you've never done it before, but essentially you want to stare at the image and then gently cross your eyes until the two images converge into one (your left eye will be looking at the right-hand image, and vice-versa).

I started working on this in mid-August when I decided to take an overnight trip to Toronto to finally catch my first Birthday Massacre show, since they were also going to be at Fan Expo that year (it was easier to justify hopping on a plane when there'd be more stuff to do). One of the best shows of my life (I'd say "the" best, but that honour must go to when I got engaged at a Cure concert). TBM put on an amazing, high-energy synthrock/industrial show, and made the whole trip worthwhile.

They also had a table set up as part of the Festival of Fear component of Fan Expo, so I was able to present them with a few prints (and pairs of 3D glasses) of this conversion. While buying t-shirts and getting a ton of autographs from them, as well. Super, super nice people, and very generous with their time to their fans.
